Patriotic moment

A Sudanese "lost boy" is carrying the U.S. flag at the Olympic opening ceremony. Here is why this is awesome:
-The Chinese government should feel horrible about its involvement (or non-involvement) with the genocide in Sudan, and this man will remind them of that.
-This guy worked off his bum to survive, not to mention get to the Olympics.
-The United States is almost entirely a nation of immigrants (and descendants of immigrants, yes). He is the perfect symbol of this.
-He seems pretty nice.

Oh, man. I love the Olympics.
