We got it, B.

I have decided to be more like Beyonce. To start, I will do the following:

-Create an alter ego for when I'm feeling sassy. Beyonce's other name is Sasha Fierce. So, regular first name plus intimidating adjective.... Got it. Hildegunn ClimateChangey.

-Date a half-a-billionaire. (Not, like, half of a person who is a billionaire, but rather a whole person who has half a billion dollars.) Norway has lots of oil, but the greedy executives are probably taxed like whoa, so after I leave Trondheim, I will move to Saudi Arabia. Or Texas.

-Hire backup dancers. Boyfriend and Julie Andrews - I choose you two. Start practicing.

This is a good start.

I am not lazy.

My favorite professor convinced me that there are no lazy kids. The "slackers" just don't value what you want them to. For example, one of my favorite students values defying authority and staying up until 5:00 AM playing video games.

I'm putting off an essay that I don't value. I like the topic - why private schools are dumb and harmful and make puppies cry - but do I need to put that into writing? No. Let's just have a conversation about it, please.

After I publish this post, I am off to the dining room table to highlight long sections from an article that I can quote in my essay to take up space. Then I will watch Iron Chef America. During the commercials, I might highlight more. After the show, I will return to this rolly chair, write another blog post, walk to the kitchen for some Mighty Mango, think about how my feet hurt, look at myself in the mirror, put some shoes in my shoe rack, sit back down at the computer, make a Scrabulous move, write four more pages of the essay, put a note on the bottom that says I will be happy to redo the paper after some comments because I struggled writing it, set my alarms, and go to sleep.

Three weeks until summer!
